Here at The Tiny Tassel we just love our neighborhood, Cannonborough-Elliotborough! We love it even more because our favorite local places are just walking distance from our flagship store. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to stay, grab a bite to eat or drink, and of course: SHOP, we rounded up a few of our must-see stops, located in Downtown Charleston, South Carolina’s Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood!

Guesthouse Charleston:

The Boho Rosa House: 

This house is definitely picture worthy and screams “girls weekend”. The award winning-  pretty and pink house holds 14 people and gives you that renovated style, Charletson home. In walking distance from this chic house, you can find our fan favorite coffee shop- Bad Bunnies Coffee.

The Parson Inn:

Want to feel at home for a quick weekend trip when you come to Charleston? The Parson Inn is Black owned & operated, offering several themed rooms for you to choose from. We know that if you stay here you will receive true Charleston hospitality! Along with free onsite parking the green door will catch your eyes.

Babas on Cannon:

Babas on Cannon was inspired by bars and cafes in Europe. They serve the  highest quality ingredients with love. Babas on Cannon offers coffee and tea, cocktails and wine, as well as bite sized plates. 

Baguette Magic: 

Need a quick breakfast or lunch Baguette Magic has you covered. They have delicious fresh baked pastries and bread every day. If you go here, you can't leave without getting a sweet treat!   

Brown’s Court Bakery: 

The modern and traditional atmosphere at Brown's Court Bakery brings out just how unique it is to Charleston. Brown’s Court Bakery offers an assortment of pastries, fresh baked bread, and specialty confections. You won't be disappointed after leaving.

Dave’s Seafood *Black Owned: 

A taste of the lowcountry that will make you come back for more. Dave’s Seafood has some of the best shrimp and red rice you'll ever have. You don't want to miss out on this delicious restaurant ! 

Island Provision: 

Looking for that perfect cute/casual place, that is open 7 days a week, and offers patio and indoor seating? Island Provision  is known for their welcoming vibe and beverage selection. This is a perfect place to go visit if you are staying at the Guesthouse Charleston. 

Pink Cactus:

Pink Cactus offers killer tacos, enchiladas, and quesadillas. Extra points go out to the pink cactus margarita. This restaurant brings fun/hip Oaxacan style to the food scene. Enjoy the laid back atmosphere outdoors or inside. 

Sugar Bakeshop: 

The most delicious homemade sweet treats come from Sugar Bakeshop. With the many flavorful options of sweets, their best seller is the vanilla blueberry cupcake and that first bite will taste like heaven. This bakeshop will help cure that sweet tooth. 

The Pass:

A 700 sq. foot restaurant never tasted so good. Anthony Marini, Owner and Chef has brought 20+ years of experience to the culinary industry. The Pass offers sandwiches and curated products that are made in house daily.

In search of a laptop bag that feminine, classy, and durable. Owner of Alesya Bags has designed fashionable work bags. The brand offers two different bag sizes and they realize that different jobs require different bags.

A store full of vintage and timeless pieces, Harper and Hartford is a luxury women's brand. They offer beautiful pieces of jewelry, unique clothing, and fun shoes. Harper and Hartford is definitely on our list for a reason.

A true Southern brand of colorful, bold, and unique designs. Hermosa Jewelry is known for their permanent jewelry. Permanent jewelry is a way to be reminded of special things in your life, whether that be a friendship, holiday, family member, or wedding. What makes their jewelry one of a kind is that you NEVER have to take it off. Our founder, Mimi, stopped in recently for a permanent bracelet and is obsessed with it!

Their leather bags are offered in a variety of colors and customizable linings. Everyone will be asking about this bag plus they have the cutest pink photo opps in their storefront!
